The death of Mrs. Emma LeBlanc widow of Alphée LeBlanc of Memramcook East occurred Sunday morning (15 janvier) at the Georges Dumont hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 83.

Born at Memramcook East, she was a daughter of the late Yvet and Rosalie (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.

Her husband died in 1968, while a daughter Mrs. Maxime Breau (Célia), died in 1974.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Roy Gould (Joseline) of Memramcook East, Mrs. Yvon Saulnier (Ella) of Memramcook and Mrs. Alyre Belliveau (Mélina) of St Joseph; four sons, Oscar and Edward, both of Memramcook East, Lawrence and Dollard LeBlanc, both of Breau’s Creek (Col1ege Bridge); 56 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren.

The body is resting at Dupuis funeral home, Memramcook. Mass will be celebrated at the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic church, Memramcook East with entombment in the St Thomas parish cemetery vault, St Joseph, to await burial in the Memramcook East parish cemetery in the spring.
